Finking Cap Languages is a sole proprietorship in Finland and complies with the Finnish law. In this document, we refer to Finking Cap Languages as ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’. Please take a moment to read through our privacy policy.

This document describes why and how we collect, manage and store any details relating to an identified or identifiable person. Any third-party providers we use have been carefully selected to reflect our own privacy policy. Links to their privacy policies have been provided below. We may also share links to other websites in the content that we publish, however, we cannot be responsible for how they collect, store, disclose or manage any personal details that you may give to them. This applies to the third-party providers mentioned. Please be aware that the internet is never 100% safe.

We will never sell, trade or disclose your details to third parties for marketing purposes. We will only disclose your information to third parties if the law requires us to do so.

We are a business, and we sell goods and services online. We may collect and store your details to do the following:

  • process orders
  • keep you informed of our products and content we think you might find interesting
  • send you a newsletter or any other content that you have opted in through our website or other channels  such as social media
  • develop our content and products
  • manage our internal records.

The information we may collect includes the following:

  • your name
  • your contact information (email address, phone number, postal address)
  • information on your use of our website, for example, the pages you view and the resources you access on our website
  • any information you have voluntarily given to us in blog comments, surveys, contests, promotions etc.

We store and process the information via the following providers:

We use Convertkit, a GDPR compliant email marketing tool, to store the email addresses collected. Convertkit allows us to handle your data in a secure way and to ensure that you only receive content that is relevant to you. We use Convertkit to track your previous orders and interests. For example, we won’t send you the same email twice – Convertkit helps us track what we have already sent to you. We may also ask you to specify what kind of content you are interested in by providing you with links to click on. If you choose to click on those links to provide us with further information, that information is stored together with you name and your email address on ConvertKit, so that we can send you information that you are interested in. Our online courses are hosted by Thinkific, a GDPR compliant online course platform. Thinkific and Convertkit are securely connected to each other, and when you sign up for one of our online courses, your contact details will automatically be transferred to Convertkit as well as stored on our Thinkific student list. Some of the sign-up forms on our Squarespace website are embedded Converkit forms, some run through a third-party provider called Zapier. Zapier is “the bridge” that helps Squarespace and Convertkit communicate with each other and it does so via our Google Sheets. Click here for Zapier’s and Google’s privacy policies.

We use Gmail as our email provider. Gmail is Google product.

Online purchases made through our website are processed through Paypal (privacy policy) or Stripe (privacy policy). We have no access to your card details.

As a seller of digital products, we need our accounting to comply with the current international taxation policy. We use an accounting tool Quaderno to keep track of the geographical location of our customers, which allows us to pay the correct amount of VAT to the correct countries. Quaderno produces invoices for us, and this invoice will contain the physical address of the customer. These details are securely stored and only shared with our accountant. Your rights

If you wish to change your details or have them deleted entirely, you may do so at any time by emailing us at You may also unsubscribe from our email list at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of our newsletter email, and you will no longer receive emails from us.
